The Capital Area Chapter of the Theodore Roosevelt Association is pleased to announce the first Theodore Roosevelt® Public Speaking Contest in the Washington, DC Area. The contest is open to all students at Theodore Roosevelt Senior High School in Washington, DC. Students will be challenged to develop, organize and communicate ideas relating to the life and career of President Theodore Roosevelt using critical thinking, independent research and proper speech. 17 students have signed up for the competition which will take place Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Theodore Roosevelt High School.
