the life and ideals of Theodore Roosevelt.
TR's legacy can be found
at a variety of sites across our region, from the
White House to Pine Knot, his presidential retreat
near Charlottesville, VA, and the USS Theodore Roosevelt

It's Not Just History
Although the Chapter includes
more than a few history buffs, there are many different
reasons that people join the TRA.
Our members are involved in the community, participating
in activities that reflect Theodore Roosevelt's
own wide-ranging interests and emphasis on public
service. The biannual clean-up of TR Island and
the Theodore Roosevelt Police Award are just two
of the events that keep us busy and help keep the
