Our Honoree
Senior Trooper Eric Workman of the Maryland State Police Department has experienced serious injuries from two separate work-related incidents, including being hit by a car going at high speed while he was on the side of the road, and being shot at close range by a fugitive. From the latter episode, a semi-automatic caliber bullet remains lodged near his spine. Despite these significant injuries, Trooper Workman has continued to distinguish himself and remained deployed in a high-intensity team. He has been recognized for his dedication and determination by colleagues, and it will be our honor to present him with the Theodore Roosevelt Police Award. |
